Mother and daughter artists from southwest Louisiana.
Born and raised in the heart of Acadiana. I grew up surrounded by the scenic views of swamps and bayous in southwest Louisiana,. I consider myself to be an experimental art scientist, and when I’m creating it’s always an adventure. I work in a vast array of ever evolving multimedia formats, and especially love watercolors, natural materials, and to combine media in interesting ways. My background in science and engineering and as a yoga teacher influences my design and work processes and helps to shape each piece I create. I hope the art I create cultivates an appreciation for the unique heritage of Acadiana and inspires people to take the time to go out and experience for themselves the beauty in the mundane of the real world.
